Web Services Policies
General Policies:
- Standard Business Day Response Time
- Generally, requests made from during a standard business day from 7:30am to 4:00pm will be responded to that day
- Requests made after 4:00pm, on weekends, or on holidays will be responded to the next business day
- Training
- In general no training is provided by Web Services
- For training contact CTSS Training
- Programming Support
- Web Services does not provide any support for programming of any kind
Policies For Sites Hosted On CVMBS Web Servers:
- All web sites, services and applications must be initially deployed and tested on the development web servers before being moved to production
- Web Site Testing
- It is the primary responsibility of the web author however IT Services Web Services will assist as possible
- Web Application Development
- IT Services Web Services must be contacted before beginning development to ensure the technology will work and is, or can be, supported on the CVMBS web servers
- New Service Requests
- For any new web services IT Services Web Services must be contacted before beginning development and deployment to ensure the service will work and is, or can be, supported on the CVMBS web servers
